BNSF 2007 Christmas Train In San Dimas On The Pasadena Sub

This was the fourth and final run of the 2007 annual BNSF Christmas Train on the Pasadena Subdivision (ex ATSF Second District). Location is at San Dimas, facing east at Monte Vista Avenue-same location as my previous San Dimas video, but facing the opposite direction. The view in this video is a "going away" shot (i.e. the train appears to be running 'backwards' or 'in reverse'. I intentionally filmed it this way because 1) at the time of filming, the sun was well in the western skies. So to film an 'approach' angle would've meant shooting into the sun, resulting in shadow shots. Alas, the view in this video shows a well lit train. The second reason is that the trees trackside in this view are in full fall colors. Thus enhancing the setting. And finally, this train has a locomotive on each end. So you still get to see some BNSF. Filmed 12/02/2007. Thanks for looking.
